01Who we are

Business in a Box helps people start a business: aged Australian domain names, websites, a business management system, ready-made businesses and introductions to licensed partners. A Resolve Business Solutions Pty Ltd brand.

02What we collect

We collect this directly from you, from your enquiries, orders and messages, and when you use this website.

• Identity and contact details: your name, email, phone number and business name.
• What you tell us about your plans, in an enquiry, a call or the quiz on this website.
• When you buy a domain name: the details needed to transfer it to you, including the Australian entity that will hold it, the eligibility basis you declare and your declaration, which we keep with your purchase.
• Order, invoice and payment records. Card details are entered with our payment provider and are not stored by us.
• Messages, emails and calls between us.
• Technical data when you use this website, such as device and browser information, and information collected by the security check on our forms that keeps out automated spam.

03How we use it

To answer your enquiry and talk with you about what you need; to process orders and transfer the domain names you buy; to set up and deliver the services you engage us for; to send quotes, invoices and receipts; to improve our services; and to send you relevant information about our services, which you can opt out of at any time.

04Marketing

After you enquire, we may send you a short series of emails about our services. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email, or by contacting us. Opting out does not stop messages about an order or service you have with us.

05Who we share it with

We may disclose your personal information to service providers who help us operate, for example our CRM and email providers, our payment provider, our website host and our form security provider; to domain registrars and the registry, where needed to transfer a domain name to you; to the licensed partners we introduce you to, but only when you ask us to make that introduction; to anyone you authorise; and where required or permitted by law. We do not sell your personal information.

06Overseas storage

Some of our service providers store or process data on servers that may be located outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.

07How we store and protect it

We hold your information in secure systems and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

08Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, at any time. You can also ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

09Complaints
